Free Health screening
Apprenticeship scheme for young people
No Limits Charity Organization and Changing African Lives Foundation Join Forces to Empower Disabled Youth in Gomoa Akramang.
As part of our ongoing efforts to support the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals, No Limits Charity Organization collaborated with the Zion Church in Gomoa Akramang to provide mobility assistance to three disabled young ladies.
Children born with a cleft lip/pallet are often alienated the family or child can be removed from the village. We have arrangements with Doctors to provide free surgery. We fund the costs of transportation and accommodation.
CALF were able to stage and fund a free community health screening event for over 350 people from the local community of Jamestown. Children and adults were screened for Eyes, Ears, Oral care and general screening

Our Ga Mashie 360 learning centre was transformed into a mini dental hospital as dentists extracted teeth and preformed free general dental care for local people.
CALF has run several ‘SPELLING B’ competitions for the 50 to 60 children that attend our centre daily. Questions include; African history, spelling, writing stories etc. The top child is being presented with exercise books, pens and pencils by the Queen.
Children need leadership and guidance. Our mentorship program involved 4 successful individuals who were able to engage with the children and encourage them towards setting goals and to success.
Our after school classes are always full and focus at all levels of learning. The classes include English, Maths, History and Some science subjects. We now also include a French teacher.
All children that attended our free community health screening were given talks about health and oral care. They also all received free oral care.
In 2023 we were excited to launch our new Apprenticeship initiative for 15 young people in Jamestown. The apprenticeships included; Dress making, Shoe making, Hairdressing, Barbering and suit making.
When we launched our apprenticeship program. Arrangements and payment was made to all the teachers involved, and the equipment for the apprenticeships was given by our organisation to all the apprentices on the 2-3 year program.
