Cleft lip is a congenital condition characterized by an opening or split in the upper lip, which can occur alone or in conjunction with a cleft palate (an opening in the roof of the mouth). This condition arises during fetal development when the tissues that form the lip do not fully come together. Cleft lip and palate can lead to various challenges, including feeding difficulties, speech issues, and ear infections. Treatment typically involves surgical repair, which is often performed in infancy, along with ongoing speech therapy and dental care as needed. Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate

There is a major stigma on children born with a Cleft lip and Cleft palate in many parts of Africa. We look out for these children and arrange their transport to the hospital and the operation that is needed.

Eradicating Poverty

Eradicating Poverty in Africa is part of our core objectives. We support No Limits charity and other charities to provide food parcels and support to the poor.

Education is the Bedrock

Education is the Bedrock of every Childs future. Our foundation fully funds the Ga Mashie 360 learning centre in James Town Accra Ghana which hosts 30-50 children daily and is also used by local schools as a resource for children in the community..

A physical disability is a substantial and long-term condition affecting a part of a person’s body. It impairs and limits their physical functioning, mobility, stamina or dexterity. The loss of physical capacity results in the person having a reduced ability, or inability, to perform body movements. This can include walking, moving hands and arms, sitting and standing as well as controlling muscles. A physical disability does not necessarily stop you from performing specific tasks but makes them more challenging. This includes daily tasks taking longer to complete, such as getting dressed or difficulty gripping and carrying things. It is important to note that defining physical disability is not about the physical condition itself but how it impacts daily life, e.g. the ability to carry out work activities. A person may be born with a physical disability. Or they may acquire a physical disability later in life due to an accident, injury, illness or as a side effect of a medical condition. Examples of physical disability include cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Carpal tunnel syndrome, amputations and spinal cord injuries.
